Formerly of Curragh West, Dunmore

On Monday, 27th October 2025 Margaret completed her life’s journey peacefully at home surrounded by her dearly loved family. Predeceased by her husband Jim, sisters Sally, Teresa and Nora, brothers Paddy, Johnny, Martin Tom, Micko and Gabriel and her grandson baby James.

Deeply loved and mourned by her children Fiona, Ard, Donna and J.P, by her grandchildren Lucha, Ciara, Darragh, Danny, Ben, Roan, Keelin and Leah Mourned also by her siblings'' sisters Bridie and Kathleen and brother Seamus. Sadly, missed by her daughters-in-law Marian and Finola, sons-in-law Martin and Christian and by the extended Bradley and Murphy family, neighbours and friends. She will be fondly remembered by all.

Funeral Arrangements
Wednesday, 29th October 2025 Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (Eircode H91V1K8) from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. No Removal to the Church this evening.

Thursday,30th October 2025.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Margaret on arrival at St. Mary’s Church, Claddagh (H91D36) at 11 a.m. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Bohermore. Mass will be live streamed. See the link below.

Parking & Entrance to the funeral parlour - Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within Claddagh, Henry Street and Sea Road. Parking maybe scarce on Munster Avenue.

Car Parks within walking distance: Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station
