The death has occurred of Martin Greaney, Sycamore Lodge, Lissavalley, Barnaderg, Tuam, Co. Galway. Martin passed away suddenly on the 24th of November 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Martin was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Marie, devoted and proud father to his son Emmet and daughter Emily.

Predeceased by his parents Peter and Kathleen, his father-in-law Frank Moran and his brother-in-law Seamus Egan.Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers Peter (Mary), Gabriel (Geraldine), Paul (Caroline), Kieran (Una), Declan (Jackie) and Henry (Claire), his sisters, Mary (Seamus R.I.P.), Noreen (Aidan), Catriona (Michael), Una (Austin) and Rosaleen (Padraic), his aunt Mary Casey, his mother-in-law Bridie Moran, brothers-in-law Gerard (Carmen) and Francis (Aoife) along with his adored nephews, nieces, grand nephew Gearoid, aunts-in-law, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in St. Anne’s Funeral Home (H54 AE79), Barnaderg on Thursday the 27th of November from 5pm to 8pm with removal afterwards to St. Mary’s Church (H54 WY44), Killererin.

Mass in St Mary's Church, Killererin on Friday the 28th at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Creevaghbawn Cemetery (H54 Y677).
