The death has occurred of Mary Armstrong née Broderick, Caherweelder, Kilcolgan.
Mary Armstrong, Caherweelder, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway and formerly of Kiltulla, Athenry, Co. Galway. January 6th, 2026. Predeceased by her husband Miko, daughter Maura, daughter-in-law Josephine and grandson Joseph.
Mary passed away on 6/2/2026 in the tender presence of her family and the staff of Kilcolgan Nursing Home.
Beloved mother of her daughter Riona, sons Michéal, Gerard and Aidan, daughters-in-law Carmel and Bernadette and sons-in-law Michael and Joe. Mary was the very proud grandmother of Lara, Karen, John, Aoife, Niamh, Alan, Fiona, Niall, Shane, Kate, Enda, Leona, Anna, Mark, Conor and Paul and great-grandmother of Darach, Isla, Gwen, Ailbhe, Neasa, Méabh, Shane, Rory, Ned, Daisy and Éanna, Mary is survived by her sister Nono, brother-in-law John and sister-in-law Madge. Mary was much loved by her extended family, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91 HW58), this Sunday the 8th of February from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Monday the 9th of February in St. Colman's Church, Roveagh (H91 XK29) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
