The death has occurred of Mary Hynes née Maguire, Ballybrone, Turloughmore.
Mary passed away peacefully in her home in the loving care of her family with the wonderful support of palliative care.
Predeceased by her loving husband Denny, parents John and Mary McGuire, brothers Patrick, Joe, John and Dan, sisters Bridgie and Christine.
Deeply missed by her sons Tom and John, daughters Chris and Rose, brothers Tom and Gerry, daughters-in-law Anne and Róisín, sons-in-law Raymond and Francis and much-loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her lifelong dearest friend Mary Hession, extended family and her many friends and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Tuesday: 2nd December 2025:
Reposing at Our Lady’s Chapel, Lackagh (H65N129) on Tuesday evening, from 5-00 pm until 7-00 pm.
Wednesday, 3rd December 2025:
Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated at 12.00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Church of Our Lady of Knock, Lackagh (H65N129) with burial afterwards in Lackagh Old Cemetery.
House strictly private on the morning of removal.
Mass will be live-streamed on Lackagh Church Live YouTube Channel and also broadcast on parish radio, 106.9 FM.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice/Palliative care services.
