The death has occurred of Michael, also known as Hallie Kelly, Abbey Street, Portumna.

Hallie passed away, peacefully, at home on Tuesday 10th March 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Annie Kelly, his brothers Willie, Con and Pat and his sister Josephine (Cahalan).

Hallie will be greatly missed by his loving wife Mary Jo, his children Eleanor, David, Declan, Brian and Aidan, by his son-in-law Tony and his daughters-in-law Margaret, Geralyn, Emer and Sandra and his 16 adored grandchildren.

Hallie will also be sadly missed by his beloved sisters Maura McDonagh, Evelyn Smith (USA), Nancy Green (Liverpool) and his sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, members of the extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Hallie will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village on Thursday 12th March from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral cortége will arrive at St Brigid's Church Portumna on Friday 13th March at 10.45am for Requiem Mass for Hallie at 11am.

Burial will take place after Mass in St Michael's cemetery, Portumna.
