The death has occurred of Michael, also known as Mick O'Rourke, Ard na Greine, Clonmel, County Tipperary and formerly of Lake Road, Loughrea.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael K. O’Rourke, who passed away peacefully in Tipperary University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday 13th March 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Larry and Lena and sons Michael and John.
Michael will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his best friend Chris, children Kelly, Dennis and Kevin, brothers Joe, John, Vincie and sister Teresa.
His 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, his daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his extended family and many friends.
Michael will lie in repose in Kilboys Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Tuesday 17th March from 4-6pm, followed by removal to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea.
Michael’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea, on Wednesday 18th March at 11am, followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Loughrea.
