The death has occurred of Michael English, Ardvarna, Oughterard, Co. Galway. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, 23rd, February 2026.
Predeceased by his parents James and Hannah, brother Jimmy and sister Eileen. Michael will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, his son’s Seamus and Michael and daughter Siobhan, daughters -in-law Brenda and Paula, son-in-law Declan, all his beloved grandchildren Erin, Kate, Emmett, Libby, Grace, Hannah, Isabel, Ben and Lucy, his sister Mary and brother John, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his home Ardvarna, Oughterard, (H91CR2A) on Thursday, 26th February, 2026 from 4pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael at 11 a.m on arrival to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Oughterard on Friday 27th February , 2026. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard.
