The death has occurred of Noel Browne, Bun an Chnoic, Rahoon, Galway / Mullingar, Westmeath

It is with deep sadness that Noel’s family share the news of his death in the early hours of Tuesday, 6 May 2025. Noel died following a short illness in the exceptional care of the Galway Hospice who cared for all his needs and the needs of the family with tremendous kindness.

Deeply mourned by his wife Maria, children Amy, Simon and Ella, by his sister Mary, nieces Rachel and Rebecca, cousins, all the Haddock family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Christopher and Teresa and by his parents-in-law Jackie and Mary Haddock, Highfield Park.

Funeral Arrangements

Wednesday, 7 May 2025 - Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Thursday, 8 May 2025 – Removal from his home at 11.30 a.m. to arrive at Knocknacarra Church in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 12 noon. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
