Noel Duffy

Noel passed away peacefully in Worcester, England, on 28th January 2026, aged 69 years.

Noel shared a devoted and loving marriage with his wife Paula (née McGauran) for 45 years. He was a wonderful and much-loved father to Darach and Annie, father-in-law to Stevie, and a cherished grandfather to Lola and Shay. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Predeceased by his parents Annie and Paddy, his beloved brother Brendan, and his brothers-in-law Seán, Brian and John.

Noel will be lovingly remembered by his family: Mary Dalton, Deidre Byrne, Imelda Darabi, his brother Dermot, his sisters-in-law Grace and Mary, his brothers-in-law Colm, Tom and Firouz, and by Paula’s family: Mary, Eimer, Fidelis, Niall, Jane, Peter, Margaret and Shay. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family and his many dear friends in both England and Ireland.

A funeral service will take place in Worcester, England, followed by Mass and burial of ashes in Meelick, Co. Galway.

Noel’s ashes will return to St. Francis Church, Meelick (H53 H728), for Mass on Saturday April 18th at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
