The death has occurred of Nora Grady, Ballyglass, Gurteen, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway on the 6th of July 2026, peacefully at Sligo General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her loving husband John, parents John and Margaret, brothers William, Michael and Martin, sisters Teresa Cannon (Ballyfa) and Mary Connor.
Nora will be sadly missed by her son Liam, daughter Geraldine, daughter in-law Catherine, son in-law Jonathan, adored grandchildren Sarah, Stephen, Niall, Lucy, Aoife, Dylan, Éabha, Shauna and Dara, sisters Bridget O’Dea (Mounthazel), Kathleen Kelly (Ivy House, Castlelambert, Athenry), brother in-law Tommy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Nora will repose at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry (H65KP70) on Thursday, 9th July 2026 from 6pm. Removal at 8pm to St. Michael’s Church, Gurteen (H53PN24). Requiem Mass on Friday, 10th July at 11am. Burial afterwards in Cloonkeenkerrill Cemetery. Mass can be viewed online at www.ballymacwardgurteenparish.com.
