The death has occurred of Paddy Staunton, Corrib Park, Newcastle, Galway / Mervue, Galway

On the 12th of June 2025, Paddy passed away very peacefully, in University Hospital Galway, with his loving family by his side.

Beloved husband of the Late Áine. Predeceased by his sons John John and Patrick, his parents Tom and Ellen and his brothers Tom and Michael.

Will be sadly missed by his daughters Annmarie and Barbara, son Peter, brothers Peter and Coleman, sisters Maureen and Evelyn, son-in-law Tony, Peter's Partner Carmel, Annmarie's partner Paddy, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Sunday the 15th of June from 4pm. Private removal at 5:30pm to his home. Paddy's Requiem Mass will take place on Monday the 16th of June in The Church of the Sacred Heart Westside, at 11:30am. Paddy will then be laid to rest with Áine, in The New Cemetery Bohermore.
