The death has occurred of Pat McSharry
Originally of Kilmaine, Co. Mayo
Pat died peacefully at University Hospital Galway on 27th February 2026. Predeceased by his parents Nora and Richard, sister Ann and brother Richard (Dick). Pat will be sadly missed by his loving wife Maura (née Cooke), son Brian, daughters Katherine, Blaneth and Jenny, adored grandchildren Sophie, Liam, Rían and Eanna, sisters Kitty and May, daughter-in-law Edwina, sons-in-law Eoin, Cormac and Niall, brothers-in law Cyril, Brian, Michael and Raymond, sisters-in-law Bridie, Marie, Olivia, and Celia, the extended McSharry and Cooke family and his neighbours and friends. No Flowers please.
Funeral Arrangements
Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026 Pat will lie in Repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 6 p.m. to 7.30 pm.
Wednesday, 4th March, 2026 A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Pat at 11 a.m. on arrival at St. James’ Church, Bushypark. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
