The death has occurred of Paul Heaney
On Wed 12th November, 2025, Paul passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St Mary's Nursing Home, Shantalla.
Predeceased by his darling wife Maura, brothers Michael, Tony and Noel.
Paul will be sadly missed by his children, Loretta, Peter, Maeve, Sean, Paul and Michelle. Daughters-in-law Maura, Mary and Amanda, sons-in-law Des and Darren. His adored grandchildren Jack, Kate and Maeve, Normagh, Rían and Carra, Aoife and Rory, Séan and Roisín, Thomas and Rose. Extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
May his kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786) on Fri 14th November from 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm (with prayers at 6.30 pm). Arriving to St. Augustine's Church, Middle Street, on Saturday 15th November for 11.00 am mass.
Burial afterwards in New Cemetery, Bohermore.
The family have requested no flowers, but if desired, donations can be made to Galway Hospice in memory of Paul Heaney.
