formerly of Caherpeak, Kilcolgan and 'Fahy's Mace' Westbridge, Loughrea,

Co. Galway.

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of

Peter, who passed away peacefully on the 20th May, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at the Galway Clinic, in his 90th Year.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Delia Fahy and his sister Della Ryan.

 

Peter will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Marie (McInerney), his heartbroken family - daughter Majella, son Dermot, son-in-law Robert Reilly, daughter-in-law Aine, grandchildren Shauna, Ciaran, Darragh, Aoibhe and Lilly, their partners Aidan, Aoife and Alexa, his great grandchildren Luke and AnnaSophia.

Sisters Mary Peronard (New Jersey, USA) and Anna Murray (Ballinasloe) and brother Martin (Caherpeak), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins and valued neighbours and friends.

.

Peter will lie in repose in Kilboys Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Friday 22nd May from 5-7pm.

 

Peter’s funeral cortege will arrive to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea, on Saturday 23rd May for Requiem Mass at 2.30 pmfollowed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Loughrea.

Peter’s family would like to sincerely thank and acknowledge the staff of the Blackrock Health Clinic, Galway for their exceptional care and would like to express their sincere thanks to all their extended family, neighbours & friends for all their kindness and support at this very sad time.
