The death has occurred of Peter McGauley, Baurisheen, Oughterard.
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, 31st December, 2025.
Predeceased by his sister Rita, his parents Rita and Mark.
Peter will be sadly missed by his loving wife Barbara, children Rory, Mary, P.J, Ita, and Mark, his daughters -in-law Marian, Aoife and Sophie, sons-in-law Ali, and Paul, all his brothers and sisters Mary, Matt, Margaret, John, Mikey, Eileen, Mark, Brendan, and Jimmy, his beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, Oughterard (H91 EV52), on Thursday 1st of January (New Years Day) 2026 from 4pm with removal to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Oughterard at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Peter at 11am on Friday 2nd January, 2026. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard.
