The death has occurred of Bob Newell, Kilmurry, Headford, Co. Galway 30th April, 2026. Bob passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends in the wonderful care of the staff of University Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Margaret, his brothers Michael, Pat, and John and sisters Cecilia, Mary, Francis, Peggy and Josie. Bob will be sadly missed by his sister Ann Marie, son’s Michael and Robert, daughter's Moya and Caroline, granddaughter Molly, sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing from his home in Kilmurry (H91 E26E) Saturday 2nd May 2026 from 5pm to 8pm.
Removal from his home on Sunday morning 3rd May to St. Mary's Church, Headford, for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by burial in Cloughanover Cemetery.
