The death has occurred of Rosaleen (Rose) Ryder (née Mannion), Beach Court, Galway City, Galway and formerly of Bowling Green, Galway City.
On Sunday 14th December 2025, Rose slipped away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff on Our Lady of Knock ward at the Galway Clinic.
Pre deceased by her siblings; Jackie, Michael, Mai and Des Mannion.
Sadly missed by her beloved husband of 58 years Adrian and her loving family; Elaine and Ray Cunningham, Kendra and Jason Cassidy, Evan and Mary Ryder and her six adored grandchildren Ruth, Reah, Mark, Emma, Lisa and Sophie, whom she cherished dearly.
Fondly remembered and mourned also by her brother Jimmy Mannion and sister Joan Heneghan, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Tuesday 16 December 2025 : Rose will lie in repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5pm - 6:30pm.
Wednesday 17 December 2025 : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Rose on arrival to St. Mary's Church, Claddagh at 11am. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
