The death has occurred of Sean Quinn, Attidermot, Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Galway
Sean passed away peacefully on 16th January, 2026 in his 101st year, in the wonderful care of Nuala, Mike and staff at Hillside Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Eileen, brother Paddy and sisters Mary and Chrissie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son Johnny, daughters Mary (Donlon), Josie (Murtagh) and Annie (Madden), sons-in-law Luke, Tom and Mike, daughter-in-law Noelle, grandchildren Liam, Laura, Una, Edel, Lisa, Kevin, Eamonn, Aoife and John, great grandchildren James and Emily, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Sean will repose at St. Catherine’s Community Hall, Aughrim (H53 D9F4) on Monday 19th January from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass in St. Catherine’s Church, Aughrim on Tuesday at 12 noon which may be viewed online here Burial afterwards in Aughrim new cemetery.
House private by request Monday night and Tuesday morning
