The death has occurred of Sharon Lawless, Quarry Road, Menlo, Galway
On the 19th of December 2025, Sharon passed away suddenly but peacefully at her residence.
Beloved daughter of Pat and Brigid and cherished sister of Martina and the Late Richard.
Will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Aidan, sister-in-law Sineád, nieces Roanna and Aoibhín, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, her many friends and her work colleagues in Galway County Council and Galway City Council.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Monday the 22nd of December from 6pm until 7:30pm. Sharon’s Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday the 23rd of December at 11am in St. Columba’s Church Castlegar (H91 E4C9). Sharon will then be laid to rest in Menlo Cemetery with her brother Richard.

Parking: There is ample parking available at The Corrib Shopping Centre Multi-Story Car Park (H91 DP6R) which is only 2 minutes walk to/from the funeral home. The entrance to the car park is from Bóthar Na mBan. Please note that this car park will close at 10:00pm on Monday evening.
