The death has occurred of Suzanne (Suzie) Mitchell
Suzanne (Suzie) Mitchell, Raford, Kiltullagh, Athenry, Co. Galway. 7th May 2026
Predeceased by her father Paddy Mitchell.
Suzanne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the team at Kileen House, Kilcolgan.
Sadly missed by her loving family, her mother Helen, brothers Derek and Emmet, sister Aideen, brother in-law David, sisters in-law Pamela and Shannon, nephew and nieces Daniel, Kate, Hannah and Ava, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Áras Mhuire Funeral Home on the grounds of St. Killian's Church, New Inn (H53P6C0) on Sunday 10th May from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to St. Iomar’s Church, Killimordaly on Monday 11th May for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Killimordaly Cemetery.
House Private by request. Donations if desired to Brothers of Charity Services Galway.
We would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Kileen House in Kilcolgan (Brothers of Charity), the Palliative Care Team and Dr. Avriel McDonnell who all took such wonderful care of Suzanne.
