The death has occurred of Theresa, also known as Tessie Burke, Cuddoo, Colemanstown, Ballinasloe/Mountbellew.
Theresa passed away peacefully in her 102nd year on the 12th January 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff at Mountbellew Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her parents Tom and Delia, her brothers Mattie and James, sisters Julia, Molly and Una and her brothers in-law.
Theresa will be remembered by her nieces, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Thursday 15th of January from 7pm. Removal at 8pm to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle, Athenry. Funeral Mass on Friday 16th at 11:30am .Burial afterwards in Doonane Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on https://churchmedia.tv/camera/the-church-of-the-immaculate-conception.
