The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Feeney
Tommy passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway on Tuesday, 27th January 2026. The Feeney family would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for Tommy throughout his illness.
Predeceased by his sisters Anne and Mary (United States) and by his nephew Danny O'Connell.
Tommy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary, his daughters Karen, Marie, Deirdre, Breeda, Emer and Helen, and his son Donal; his brother Bertie (USA) and sister Tessie O’Connell (Claregalway); sons-in-law Johnny Glynn, John Ruddy, David Quinn and Bernard Tonge, daughter-in-law Ursula; his cherished grandchildren Sara, Ellen, Hannah, Alice, Clara, Kate, Laura, Dan, Brendan, Tom, James, Bob, Heidi and Lilly; as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing
Reposing at The Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna (H91 A2T7) on Friday 30th January, from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
Mass and Burial
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tommy on Saturday 31st January at 12 noon in the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna. The Funeral Mass may be viewed live: Here
Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery, where Tommy will be laid to rest. The funeral cortege will travel via Cappagh Road, where Tommy spent his entire life.
