Tom passed away peacefully on Monday, 16th March 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the staff at University Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by his sons David and Peter Hopkins, and by their mother Rose.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken family; his loving wife Grace, and his children Martin, Steven, Jackie, Bernie and Colm. He will also be deeply missed by the extended Hopkins family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Thursday, 19th March 2026
Tom will repose at his home, 43 John Coogan Park, from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. House private thereafter, please.
Friday, 20th March 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tom at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamas Quirke Road. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
