Minogue Tommie. The Plots, Lavally, Gort, Co. Galway. Passed away on Saturday, 14th of June 2025, surrounded by his loving children and cared for by the compassionate staff at St. Dominic’s Ward, University Hospital Galway.
Pre-deceased by his wife Marie, and daughter Linda. Cherished father of Noreen, Shane, Alan and Stella. Beloved father-in-law of Pat, Mary, Majella and Roy. A devoted grandfather to Marie, Kaelen, Jennifer, Cara, Adam, Harry and Jack & an adoring great-grandfather to Aodha, Aidan, Cian, and Amy. He will be missed forever by all his extended family, neighbours and many friends. The family deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time.

Tommie will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort. (H91 E0C8) on Tuesday evening, June 17th, from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to St. Colman’s Church Gort. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 18th of June at 12 noon. Tommie will be laid to rest afterwards with Marie and Linda in St. Colmans cemetery Gort, a place very dear to him. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Gort Cemetery Maintenance Fund. House private at all times please.
