The death has occurred of Tony O'Connor, Corrib Park, Newcastle, Galway formerly of Connolly Terrace, Bohermore, Galway City

On the 29th of May 2025, Tony passed away very peacefully in University Hospital Galway, with his loving family by his side.

Pre-deceased by his father Patrick, mother Mary, brothers Frank, Michael, Joe and Tom, sisters Bernie, Lilly and Teresa and son-in-law John Horan.

Beloved husband of Eilish, Tony will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters Siobhán and Sinéad, son John, son-in-law Brian, John's partner Maeve, grandchildren Conor and Dara, Clare and Erin, Lauren, Leah, Carla and their mother Gráinne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his kind and gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Reposing at Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Sunday the 1st of June, from 5.30pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Patrick's Church, Forster Street (H91 FP84). Requiem Mass for Tony will take place on Monday the 2nd of June at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in Rahoon Cemetery.
