Una passed peacefully from this life on 5th January 2026, in the wonderful care of the staff of St Brendan's Community Nursing Unit and surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Denis and Margaret (Coolagh), her siblings Paddy (Coolagh), Michael (Eyrecourt), Mary (Daly - Poppyhill), Birdie (Larkin - Muckenagh, Eyrecourt), Sr Dolores and Sr Christine (Incarnate Word Order), Lily (Molloy - Lisduff, Tynagh), Lucy (Silke - Esker, Banagher), Bernadette (Silke - Ballinakill, Eyrecourt).
Una will be forever loved and remembered by her sisters-in-law Peggy (Coolagh, Killimor) and Chris (Eyrecourt), her nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, her neighbours, friends and the residents and staff of the Knock Ash unit in St Brendan's CNU, Loughrea.

Una will repose at Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, Barrack Street, Loughrea (H62 DV76) on Tuesday 6th January from 4pm with removal to St Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea at 5pm. Mass for Una will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday 7th January with burial afterwards in Kilcooley cemetery.
