formerly, Killanena Co. Clare.

 

Parish Priest of Kiltullagh, Killimordaly and Clooncagh 1986 - 2022.

 

Pastor Emeritus 2022 - 2026.

 

Died on 1st May 2026

 

 

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, his brothers Paddy, Denis and Francie.

 

 

Deeply regretted by his brothers Tony, Flan and Joe, his sister Margaret, his sisters-in-law Noreen, Margaret and Kathleen, his nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, Bishop Michael Duignan, Bishop Emeritus John Kirby and the priests and religious of Clonfert Diocese, his relatives and friends and the people of Kiltullagh, Killimordaly and Clooncagh whom he served so faithfully, and by the parishioners in the various parishes in which he ministered since his Ordination to the Priesthood in 1962.

 

 

Fr. Martin will repose in Kiltullagh Parish Hall (H65 KC89) on Sunday May 3rd from 4pm to 7pm followed by removal to the Church of Saints Peter and Paul for Rite of Reception and Evening Prayer.

Requiem Mass in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul on Monday at 12noon followed by burial in the Church grounds.
