Tom Newell, Tooreeny, Moycullen and formerly of Baranna, Annaghdown, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday 20th June, 2024 .
Predeceased by his father John (Dada), mother Mary (Mama), sisters Maureen and Breda and brothers Mike, Christy, Willie and John.
Beloved husband of Anne, cherished father of Teresa, John, Deirdre, Paul, Aine and Tommy, sons-in-law Shay and Paul, daughters-in-law Maureen, Katrina and Edel. Devoted grandfather of Dylan, Cian, Amy, Ailbhe, Anne, Darragh, Aoife, Grace and Lara. Loving brother of Nora, Una, Mary, Philomena, Martin, Paddy, Brendan and Pius.
Fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his many great neighbours and friends.
The family deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time. We wish to thank all who cared for Tom during his illness particularly the staff of Galway Hospice and the Irish Cancer Society.

Reposing on Sunday 23rd of June from 5 o’clock until 7pm at Aiseirí Funeral Home, Moycullen (H91 Y54A).
Requiem Mass on Monday 24th of June at 12 Noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moycullen.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers welcome, or donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society or SVP Moycullen.
