Frustrating night for England and their fans

It was a frustrating night for England and their fans as they were held to a goalless draw by Garner as they failed to match the fluency of their opening win against Croatia.

Thomas Tuchels side struggled to break down a well-organised defence, taking them 57 minutes to register a shot on target with substitutes Pekaeo Saka and Nico O'Reilly coming closest to scoring.   It's the fourth straight tournament, England have drawn their second group fixture.

England midfielder Jude Bellingham is staying calm though.  He insists there are no worries, no stress, no dramas.

"It's amazing to be able to play so early a strong opponent from Africa who pose completely different threats and you saw that today.   It was tough to break them down but yeah, part of the beautiful thing of the World Cup is that you get to play against styles of players that you don't normally get to play against and it will stand us in good stead going into the rest of the tournament for sure."
