Almost one million euro is being invested to improve infrastructure on Galway's offshore islands.
Galway County Council will receive more than €700,000 for Inishbofin, Inis Mór Árainn and Inis Meáin
While Inishbofin Development Company is getting €159,000 - representing an increase in funding of almost five percent.
It's part of a €3.7m funding package, announced by Rural and Community Development Minister Dara Calleary.
It'll go towards different projects, such as road resurfacing, pier and slipway upgrades, coastal protection works and helipad improvements.
