Galway Bay FM, the Sound of Galway, is an independent local radio station, which operates under a licence from Coimisiún na Meán. Established in 1989, the station broadcasts from its studios in Sandy Road, Galway, serving Galway City and County.

We currently wish to recruit a Direct Sales Executive.

The Direct Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting, identifying, and closing new business for our on air and online advertising products. This includes selling on air advertising, sponsorship packages and other digital advertising products to local businesses. The person selected will be capable of identifying and prospecting new clients, will develop and maintain strong client relationships and will provide excellent sales solutions for clients. They will also develop new clients from the manufacturing base and will identify any other untapped sources for both digital and FM advertising, in Galway City and County.

As a Direct Sales Executive, you will responsible and expected to -

Prospect and win new business in Galway.
Build and manage long term client relationships.
Create tailored advertising, digital and sponsorship packages.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Represent the station at client meetings, networking events, and promotions.

What we are looking for.

Proven track record in direct sales.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
An individual who performs in a target driven environment.
Full clean driving licence and own transport.
Positive, resilient, and client focused.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
