No joy for University of Galway Mystics in Cup Quarter Final

Lisburn-based Cleveland Rockets extended their impressive recent form on Saturday against the University of Galway Mystics to claim their place in the semi-final of the Domino's Women's Division One Basketball National Cup. Rockets started strongly, leading from the start, but Mystics were still in the game at half-time with the score at 48-30. However, a strong 33-12 third quarter in favour of the Rockets put the result beyond doubt. Rockets edged the fourth quarter 20-19 to win by 101-61.

Top scorers for Mystics were Emma Glavin (22 points) and Kara McCleane (21 points). Caitlin Gloeckner (33 points) was the Rockets’ leading scorer. University of Galway Mystics' next game is away to Tolka Rovers in the Domino's Women’s Division One on December 13th at 5 pm.
