This week in our Powering Prosperity feature in association with Renewable Energy Ireland, John Morley spoke to Susan Doyle, who works with MKO Planning and Environmental Consultancy about the interaction between hen harrier and wind farms in Ireland.
Susan has a PhD in Ecology, specialising in birds, from UCD and is living in Galway. She is working at MKO Research on an SEAI funded project called RE:HARRIER, which focuses on the interaction between hen harrier, a bird which lives on the types of land that wind farms are often built on.
