It wasn't to be for Meelick-Eyrecourt in Saturday's AIB Conancht intermediate hurling final as Mayo's Tooreen, managed by Kilnadeema-Leitrim's Ray Larkin, were crowned provincial champions for the sixth time (22nd November 2025).
John Fleming and James Lyons scored first-half goals for the Galway champions, but they still trailed their opponents by eight at the break.
