An Cheathrú Rua are the last Galway men's football team standing after their seven-point victory over Mayo's Cill Chomáin in Tuam Stadium on Saturday (16th November 2024).

Éanna Mac Cormaic's goal in the closing moments sealed the win for the west Galway team after a tight contest before An Cheathrú Rua pulled clear during the second 30 minutes.

Maitiú Ó Domhnaill was named Galway Bay FM's man of the match and he spoke to Galway Bay FM's Ollie Turner afterwards.

Ollie also got the thoughts of An Cheathrú Rua manager Maghnus Breathnach.

Galway Bay FM's match commentary team were Ollie Turner and Seán Ó Domhnaill.

Sligo's Ballymote Round Towers will be their final opponents after they took care of Roscommon's St. Barry's by 2-16 to 0-9.  The Connacht Junior Football takes place in Tuam Stadium on the weekend of December 1st.
