We are getting down to the business end of the Galway Club Football Leagues and while all the focus might be on the county team taking on Kildare in the All-Ireland Championship on Saturday night in Pearse Stadium, the club players around the county will be busy in action. From Division 1 all the way down to Division 4A, the top four teams at the end of round 7 will be split, with the top four going into the semi-finals (1 v 4 and 2 v 3), and the bottom four going into relegation (5 v 8 and 6 v 7). The two finalists in each division are promoted, with the two losers of the relegation semi-finals demoted.
Division 1: Claregalway maintained their 100% record with a 6-point win away to Milltown last week and they go to Tuam Stars on Friday night (8pm) looking to maintain top spot. At the same time on Friday night, Corofin host Salthill Knocknacarra, while bottom side Leitir Mór will look for their first win of the campaign at home to Oughterard. The final game in the division is on Saturday afternoon when Maigh Cuilinn host Milltown at 4pm.

Division 2: Leaders Dunmore MacHales are at home to Bearna Na Forbacha on Wednesday night at 8pm, while St Michaels will be keen to maintain their push for a top-four spot on Friday night at home to Monivea Abbey (8pm). Then on Saturday at 2pm, Mountbellew Moyloyugh will be fancied to account for bottom side Micheal Breathnach and at the same time St James will be at home to Annaghdown.

Division 3A: Caherlistrane will be looking to get back into semi-final contention on Friday night when they host Oranmore Maree at 8pm, while on Saturday afternoon (2pm), the bottom two meet when St Brendans are at home to An Cheathru Rua. Also on Saturday at 2pm, Caltra meet Corofin a crucial game for both sides' promotion prospects, and on Sunday at 1pm Killannin will be at home to Glenamaddy.

Division 3B: The action starts on Friday night with Kilkerrin Clonberne at home to An Spidéal. Then on Saturday at 1 o'clock, unbeaten leaders Kilconly welcome Oileain Arann to North Galway, while at 2pm Cortoon Shamrocks make the trip west to Carna Cashel, and at 3pm it's Clifden at home to Headford.

Division 4A: Corofin and Annaghdown get the action under way on Thursday evening at 8pm in Belclare. On Friday night, leaders Killererin host Williamstown at 8pm, and on Sunday at 12 noon, it's Claregalway at home to St Gabriels and Menlough at home to Tuam Stars.
