A score draw on the final day of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division saw Galway United finish 5th, the best position since 1994.

Shelbourne were crowned champions elsewhere but for the Tribesmen, their target was consolidating a top-half place following a memorable season.  Despite going behind to Dayle Rooney's goal for Bohemians on 20 minutes, David Hurley struck the equaliser to leave United on 52 points from 36 games.

Afterwards, Galway United captain Conor McCormack gave his thoughts to Galway Bay FM's Jonathan Higgins.

Jonathan also got the thoughts of Galway United manager John Caulfield.
