Caltra Cuans were crowned Connacht LGFA Intermediate champions on Saturday as they beat St. Barry's of Roscommon by 3-9 to 0-9 in Kiltoom.
Caltra Cuans held a 1-6 to 0-5 lead at halftime. Caltra hit the net seven minutes into the second half to put six between the sides, and another goal right at the end sealed the win for the Galway side. Caltra Cuans will now compete in the LGFA All-Ireland Intermediate Championship, with a semi-final class with St.Fechin's (Louth) or the British champions (Holloway Gaels of London or Dunedin Gaels of Edinburgh) on the weekend of the 29/30th November.
