Claregalway made it back-to-back John West Féile National championships at Owenbeg, Derry on Saturday (27th June 2026) as they came past five teams to complete the double. And for the second successive year, Derry club Ballinderry Shamrocks were their final opponents, winning 1-8 to 0-3.
They also overcome Ballinderry in the first round, as well as Westport, Mullingar Shamrocks and Clontarf in the semi-final. It was the fifth time Claregalway were crowned the country's top team after previous wins in 2010, 2011, 2019 and 2025.
Looking back at the day, Claregalway manager Eoin McEvoy chatted to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.
