Colga Crowned Galway FA Premier League Champions for the First Time

Colga created history on Sunday (3rd May 2026) when they were crowned Western Hygiene Supplies Brod Trill Premier Division champions for the first time in their history.

The Clarinbridge outfit beat Craughwell United 7-0 in Coleman Park thanks to goals from Calum Browne, Nathan Ward, Tom Daly, Ben Lalor, Jamie Cummins and a Mikey Donoghue brace. That result put them eight points clear of predecessors Salthill Devon.

Colga manager Peter Greaney chatted to Galway Bay FM's Mike Rafferty afterwards.
