The top two teams in Galway domestic football this season clash again this Sunday (17th May 2026) with the Connacht FA Junior Cup on the line.
Colga are already league champions for the first time in their history, and beat Salthill Devon on penalties in the FAI Junior Cup. But the latter still have the Michael Byrne Cup Final against Maree-Oranmore to look forward to the following Wednesday. They are scheduled for one more league meeting against each other on May 27th, while both sides still have national matters to attend to - Colga in the FAI Junior Cup, Salthill Devon in the FAI Senior Cup.
Salthill Devon were Connacht Cup champions in 2020, while Colga contest their first ever final.
Leading up to the game, Colga manager Peter Greaney has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Mike Rafferty.
Mike also got the thoughts of Salthill Devon boss Emlyn Long.
Kick-off at Eamonn Deacy Park on Sunday is 3pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM.
