Harry Rogers was the hero for Corinthians on Sunday (21st December 2025) as they ended a 15-season wait for Connacht Senior Rugby Championship glory at Dexcom Stadium.
Ned Williams, and a Jack Conway conversion, gave the victors a 7-0 advantage, but Galwegians, beaten by Sligo in the last final, turned things around during the second period as Oisin McKey's try was followed by a Stephen Mannion penalty.
But having lost their last six final appearances, Corinthians inflicted more pain on their city rivals with Rogers' late try giving them the Glynn Cup.
After the game, Corinthians captain Mark Boyle spoke to Galway Bay FM's John Mulligan.
Corinthians head coach Ambrose Conboy shared his thoughts with Galway Bay FM's William Davies.
Galway Bay FM's match commentary team were William Davies and Alan Deegan.
