Creggs and Corrib produced an entertaining battle in the Bank of Ireland Connacht rugby men's quarter-final on Sunday (8th February 2026) in Headford before the defending champions got through for a semi-final against Corinthians.
Creggs shook off a determined Corrib outfit to come out 10-point victors.
Afterwards, Creggs backs coach Shane Leyden shared his thoughts with Galway Bay FM's William Davies.

William also caught up with the Corrib head coach Tom Smyth.
Creggs now take on Corinthians in the semi-final. The other game involves Tuam, 27-26 victors over Westport, go up against Dunmore. Both semi-finals will take place on the weekend of February 22nd. The Connacht Junior Cup Final is scheduled for Dexcom Stadium on Sunday, 29th March.
