St. Michael's memorable 2024 season came to an end on Saturday (16th November 2024) at MacHale Park as they suffered a second-half whitewash to Mayo's Crossmolina Deel Rovers.

The westside club overcame a poor start to lead 1-7 to 2-3 at half-time thanks to Ronan MacGiolla Rí's goal.  But a controversial red card for Gary Higgins before the break took its toll during the second period.

After the game, St. Michael's manager Mike Hughes shared his thoughts with Galway Bay FM's Tommy Devane.
