Galway's hopes of reaching the All-Ireland U23 Camogie Final came to an end on Saturday in Birr when a late goal from Claire Doheny gave Kilkenny a 2-14 to 0-18 win.
Galway had led at half time by 0-11 to 1-6 and as the game entered the last ten minutes, were leading by 0-17 to 1-10.
