Ballinasloe were denied again by Easkey for the third consecutive year on Saturday (22nd November 2025) as the Sligo side successfully retained the AIB Connacht Junior Hurling championship (22nd November 2025).

Cathal O'Hanlon struck two goals, including a late 1-1, but the East Galway team just came up two points short.

Afterwards, Ballinasloe manager Derek Frehill talked to Galway Bay FM's Tommy Devane.
