This week's special guest on 'Over The Line' was Olympian and World rowing champion Fiona Murtagh.
She chatted about how she got into the sport, getting called up to the national elite squad, the experience of going to Tokyo and eventually choosing to go solo in the Singles Sculls.
Fiona chatted to Galway Bay FM's George McDonagh.
In the second hour:
- George was joined by Darren Kelly and Sean Carley to look at the weekend's action in Gaelic Games and soccer;
- Michael Creaven (Honourary President of the Galway GAA Club in New York) and Tommy Joe Gilmore (former player with Galway and Connemara Gaels in New York) talk about the dedication to create a trophy for the New York football championship in memory of Connemara Gaels' Jackie Sammon.
- And William Davies looks back on Connacht's victory over Ospreys in the BKT United Rugby Championship.
'Over The Line' broadcasts every Monday evening from 8pm on Galway Bay FM.
