Five University of Galway Rowers in Ireland Crew for 2025 European Under 23 Championships

Five University of Galway rowers are with the Ireland team that compete in the European under-23 championships in Czechia this Saturday and Sunday (6th-7th September 2025).

Emma Fagan is in the Women’s Eights, while Martin O’Grady, Donagh Claffey, Shane McLoughlin and Donnacha Keeley are in the Men’s Eights.

Rowing Ireland is proud to wish the best of luck to the athletes, coaches, and support staff representing Ireland at the 2025 European Rowing Under 23 Championships taking place this weekend in Račice, Czechia.

The Championships run from 6–7 September and will see Ireland field both a Men’s Eight and a Women’s Eight, guided by experienced coaches and supported by dedicated staff.
