Galway defeated Waterford by two points in the National Camogie League Division 1 A Final at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny on Sunday afternoon.
The sides were tied at 0-7 a piece at the break with captain Carrie Dolan right to the fore. With time ticking down the sides remained deadlocked at 0-11 each but captain Carrie Dolan and super-sub Caoimhe Kelly stepped up with late points to win the Division 1 A crown for Cathal Murray's side.
