Having selected our Galway Club Hurling and Football Teams of the '60s on Monday night, this week we start the search for the best 15 club players in both codes of the 1970s. A total of 12 different clubs won county championships in the decade, 7 in football and 5 in hurling. The county final results from the '70s were as follows:
